Coimbatore : Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan avowed that DMK will pay for its wrong alliance with Congress.
Addressing the media at the City Airport here, Pon Radhakrishnan said, "I am here in Coimbatore to take part in a function conducted by Hindu Munnani party in Tirupur. A coin inscribed with the face of Former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was released earlier, today".
"Arrangements are going on at full swing across the country to celebrate the birthday of Vajpayee, tomorrow. BJP will conduct a series of meetings to clarify on the schemes fulfilled by the central government during its reign", he said.

In a reply to MK Stalin’s claim that the governance by Central government is worse than that of the emergency period, he questioned, how many Chitti Babus were killed in the current regime?
"DMK has betrayed Chitti Babu by allying with Congress", he added.
"Stalin's action proves the quote "Bad company will lead to peril". Ironically,
this is the quote former late DMK Chief Karunanidhi often highlighted. Hence, soon, DMK will face the impact of allying with Congress, as the coalition is about to face a big downfall", he added.
"DMK was unable to loot during its coalition with BJP in 1999, however they have excelled in looting larger sums during its coalition with Congress. And, A.Raja's case is the best example" he noted.
"Instead of organising meetings here, DMK and Congress should have conducted meetings at Bangalore regarding Mekedatu dam issue. Both, DMK and Congress leaders will beat the record of ‘Navarathri’ Sivaji Ganesan in acting", he mocked.
Commenting on the ongoing farmers protest against installation of high transmission towers in agricultural lands, the Union Minister said he will take up the issue to the concerned Ministry.
