Coimbatore: The former Union Minister and PMK Youth Wing leader, Anbumani Ramadoss opined that the permission given to 10 departments to monitor computers in the country would lead to snooping on opposition parties before the elections.

Briefing the media, Ramadoss also said that the Tamil Nadu government should convene an all party meeting to discuss the Mekadatu issue, without any further delay.

While demanding that Rs.50,000 compensation ought to be given to those affected by Cyclone Gaja in the Delta districts, he commented that PM Modi not touring the Cyclone Gaja affected areas amounted to neglecting Tamil Nadu and its welfare.

While stressing for the speedy implementation of the Athikadavu-Avinashi scheme, Anbumani said that the Government has announced the implementation of the project even though it is doubtful whether adequate funds have been allocated for the project.
