Coimbatore : Raakki Mahesh, a traffic police in Coimbatore has composed a song ‘Madhikkanum Madhikkanum’ to create awareness on road safety which was jointly released by Sumit Sharan, City Police Commissioner, Sujit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and Balaji Saravanan Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order).

Raakki Mahesh who is part of the traffic police team in the Race Course police station limits said, "I had developed a huge interest in art even before joining the police force. I did not give up on my passion for art, and so even after joining the police force, I made social awareness short films and songs alongside my work.
‘Madhikkanum Madhikkanum’ was composed to create awareness on road safety among the public. I have also planned to make movies to create awareness on socio-economic issues prevailing in the society," added Raakki Mahesh.
