"The land survey has commenced demarcating the area for the new parking lot using the Race Course lands," said officials.
RDO Suresh, accompanied by officials undertook the survey for the setting up of the parking lot, which will be highly beneficial for tourists visiting the town, right through the year, thus easing congestion in the town.
Officials stated that the parking lot work will be completed before the onset of the next summer season.
