Meanwhile, at 5.45 am today, the Sri Devi Poodevi darshan for the devotees began in the Perumal Special Car which was taken out from the 'sorga vaasal'.
Earlier, the devotees had a darshan of Ramanujar, Nammalvar, Thirumangai Alvar from the ‘Paramapadha vasal.’ Thousands of devotees waited in a long queue for the darshan. Starting today, the ‘Rabathu’ function is to be conducted for the next 10 days.
