Coimbatore : A complaint has been filed against a man for brutally attacking a HIV postive minor girl in Thondamuthur, here.
The 15-year-old minor girl has been living with her relatives in Thondamuthur area. Her mother, who was also a HIV affected, died around 10 years back. After she passed away, the girl who was also tested positive for HIV was residing with her mother’s brother, since then.
Today, the girl was resting due to illness. Her uncle, Aruchany (30) who saw her sleeping attacked her brutally. The girl suffered severe head injury and was rushed to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital by her neighbours.
The inhumane act by the man on a HIV affected minor girl received severe condemnation from the residents of the area.
Thondamuthur Police have registered a case against the man.
