Residents stage protest to improve transportation facilities

Today the residents of Thirumalayampalayam, a suburb of Coimbatore staged a protest requesting the officials to improve the transportation facilities in their area.

The residents alleged that their village has not been connected well with Coimbatore and annexing places as only five buses ply from their area. Their long-standing plea to improve the transportation facilities has been unresolved and presently the irregular timings of the buses has affected the office goers and students, they grieved.

Hence today the infuriated commuters blocked the Government bus and staged an unexpected protest to drive the attention of the concerned Officials.



The Officials and the Police arrived at the scene and pacified the protestors and assured them of needful action at the earliest.
