A 60-year-old tea estate worker from Gudalur Taluk, who was seriously injured in an elephant attack on last Thursday was undergoing critical treatment at Coimbatore Government Hospital. He sustained acute injuries to his spine and multiple fractures.
Unfortunately, Kandasamy passed away this morning at the hospital, his body will be sent for post-mortem and handed over to his family.
