Wi-Fi getting important than basic amenities to people

Nowadays it has become impossible to find people without smartphones. Be it youngsters, kids or the elderly, all are clung to their smartphones. So the basic need that once was food, clothing and shelter has now transformed to Wi-Fi , Smartphones, and tablets.

Due to this change in people's mindset, a lot of commercial establishments and public places in the city are providing free Wi-Fi services to the people. From travelers to students in the city, everyone’s demand is Wi-Fi, be it hotels, public transport hubs, food joints or hostels. Also, visitors from other cities find it easy to know about the best hotels and restaurant in the city, book cabs and tickets. Students nowadays join hostel checking the availability of Wi-Fi.

Everyone these days needs a Wi-Fi connection for better connectivity. The Deputy General Manager(Planning), BSNL - Coimbatore Switching Area states that the city has Wi-Fi in six public places and two public places in Tirupur.
