Press conference on awareness campaign regarding Toddy in Coimbatore

An awareness campaign regarding TODDY and Agriculture will be conducted by Nallasamy. It was stated by Nallasamy in a recent press conference held at Coimbatore today.

The campaign will mark its beginning by starting a journey from Kanyakumari to Chennai in the month of August. With collaboration with the agriculture commission, this campaign will be conducted and people will be made aware regarding the effects of toddy.

A lot of implementations to be done were discussed in the press conference. He stated that in local elections individual people should be encouraged and allotted symbols and people should be made aware of it. He also discussed various issues of agriculture commission too. He said that the surge in milk rates is to provide benefits to the local milk producers at the same time the quantity of AAVIN milk production has reduced. The irrigation system has developed due to Bhawani Sagar water management system and the final judgment in Cauvery River. The government has announced the MLA's in those areas would be rewarded 1 crore rupees for this development.
