Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science Partners with Swinburne University Vietnam for Global Academic Excellence

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science signed an MoU with Swinburne University Vietnam in Coimbatore. Managing Trustee Dr. Sundar Ramakrishnan initiated the partnership focusing on international academic collaboration, research exchange, and technology sharing. The agreement aims to enhance global educational standards and provide international exposure to students and faculty.


Coimbatore: Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (SRCAS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Swinburne University Vietnam, marking a significant step towards enhancing global academic cooperation and research excellence.

Managing Trustee Dr. Sundar Ramakrishnan signed the landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of SRCAS with Swinburne University Vietnam. The formal exchange of the signed agreement took place between Dr. B. L. Shivakumar, Principal and Secretary of SRCAS, and Dr. Richard, Director of Swinburne University Vietnam.

The ceremonial exchange witnessed the presence of several distinguished academic leaders including Dr. G. Senthil Kumar, Controller of Examinations, and Heads of Departments Dr. Santhana Krishnan, Dr. Prabhu Venkatesh, Dr. G. Maria Priscilla, and Dr. N. Sumathi. Dr. S. Prahadeeswaran, General Manager (Public Relations) of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, along with senior directors and faculty members also attended the event.

The partnership encompasses three major areas of collaboration. Under technology and knowledge exchange, both institutions will establish formal mechanisms to share insights on emerging technologies, modern research tools, and academic resources. The global academic synergies component will facilitate joint initiatives enabling students and faculty to share ideas, conduct collaborative research, and gain direct international exposure.

Curriculum alignment forms the third pillar of this partnership, focusing on enhancing degree programs and institutional capabilities to meet global educational and industry standards under the guidance of SNR Sons Charitable Trust. Institutional leaders present at the ceremony emphasized that this partnership represents a significant milestone in widening international horizons for students while elevating academic research standards at SRCAS.

The MoU is expected to create numerous opportunities for student and faculty exchange programs, joint research publications, and access to international academic networks. This collaboration aligns with SRCAS's vision of providing world-class education and preparing students for global career opportunities.
