Coimbatore: Residents of several areas in Coimbatore will face a scheduled power outage tomorrow (July 20) due to monthly maintenance work at the Kaniyur substation. The maintenance activities are scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The affected areas include Kaniyur, Kolluppalayam, Sheba Nagar, Thennamppalayam, Suppirampalayam, Kaliyapuram, and Sangothipalayam. Power supply will remain suspended throughout these localities during the maintenance period.
The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) conducts routine monthly maintenance to ensure the efficient functioning of the electrical infrastructure and to prevent potential breakdowns. Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements for the eight-hour power disruption.
The power supply is expected to be restored by 5 PM, subject to the completion of the maintenance work.
