Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced scheduled power maintenance work at the Devarayapuram sub-station tomorrow (July 14) from 9 AM to 5 PM, which will result in power supply disruption across multiple areas in the region.
According to the official announcement made today by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), monthly electrical maintenance activities will be carried out at the Devarayapuram sub-station throughout the day tomorrow. The maintenance work is part of regular safety and efficiency protocols followed by the electricity department.
As a consequence of this maintenance work, residents and businesses in several localities will experience power outages during the eight-hour window. The affected areas include Devarayapuram, Boluvampatty, Viraliyur, Narasipuram, JN Palayam, Kaliyannnanpudur, Pudhur, Thennamanallur, Kondayampalayam, and Thendral Nagar.
The Electricity Board has requested residents in these areas to plan their activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements to cope with the temporary power disruption. Essential services and emergency facilities are advised to ensure backup power arrangements during the maintenance period.
