Collector Inspects Rainwater Drainage Works in Lanka Corner, Coimbatore

District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran conducted an on-site inspection of rainwater drainage works in Lanka Corner area of Coimbatore. They instructed officials to expedite water evacuation efforts.


Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran conducted an on-site inspection of rainwater drainage works in the Lanka Corner area, which falls under the Central Zone of Coimbatore Corporation, today (October 13).

During the inspection, officials briefed the Collector and Commissioner about the current status of rainwater drainage works. They explained that measures are being taken to prevent water stagnation during the rainy season.



Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati instructed the officials to accelerate efforts for quick evacuation of rainwater. He also asked them to be prepared to avoid any disruptions during the monsoon season.

Various department officials from the Corporation were present during the inspection, providing details about their respective areas of responsibility to the Collector. Discussions were also held regarding monsoon preparedness measures.
