IndiGo Boosts Coimbatore-Bangalore Connectivity with Fourth Daily Flight

IndiGo Airlines enhances its Coimbatore-Bangalore route with a fourth daily flight starting October 1. The new schedule offers improved connectivity and flexibility for travelers.

Coimbatore: IndiGo Airlines is set to strengthen its presence on the Coimbatore-Bangalore route by introducing a fourth daily flight, effective October 1, 2023. This expansion in service is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between the two major South Indian cities.

The additional flight, operating six days a week (Sunday to Friday), will depart from Bangalore at 14:40 and arrive in Coimbatore at 15:45. The return flight will leave Coimbatore at 16:20 and reach Bangalore at 17:15. These new timings complement the existing flight schedule, offering passengers more flexibility in their travel plans.

On Saturdays, a slightly different schedule will be in effect. The Bangalore to Coimbatore flight (6E602) will depart at 15:30 and arrive at 16:20, while the return flight (6E968) will leave Coimbatore at 16:50 and land in Bangalore at 17:55.

IndiGo will operate these routes using its Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, known for their efficiency and comfort. The airline has opened bookings for these new flights, currently available until October 26, 2023.

This increase in frequency is a response to the growing demand for air travel between Coimbatore and Bangalore, two cities with strong business and cultural ties. The enhanced connectivity is expected to benefit both business travelers and tourists, facilitating easier movement between the textile hub of Coimbatore and the tech capital of Bangalore.

Passengers are advised to check the IndiGo website or contact their travel agents for detailed flight information and bookings. As always, travelers should remain updated on any potential changes to the schedule or travel requirements.
