Tirupur: In a heartwarming display of public service, Udumalaipet MLA K. Radhakrishnan's quick action to help an accident victim has garnered widespread attention on social media.

The incident occurred last night near Ponneri in the Udumalaipet area of Tirupur district. Veerakumar, a resident of Kudimangalam, was severely injured in a road accident. MLA K. Radhakrishnan, who was traveling from Tiruppur to Udumalaipet, came across the scene and immediately stopped his vehicle.

Radhakrishnan swiftly alighted from his car and called for an ambulance. He ensured that the injured Veerakumar was transported to the Udumalaipet Government Hospital. The MLA didn't stop there; he personally contacted the chief medical officer over the phone, instructing them to provide appropriate treatment to the accident victim.

The video of the MLA's compassionate act has since gone viral on social media platforms, drawing praise from netizens for his prompt response and concern for a citizen in distress.
