Power Outage Scheduled for Multiple Areas Near Pollachi on September 11

The Electricity Board announces power cuts in various areas near Pollachi on September 11 from 9 AM to 4 PM due to monthly maintenance work at Kovilpalayam and Devanampalayam substations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced that there will be no power supply in several areas near Pollachi on September 11 from 9 AM to 4 PM due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at two substations.

The Kovilpalayam substation near Pollachi will undergo maintenance, affecting power supply to Mill Kovilpalayam, Mullupadi, Senguttaipalayam, NG Puthur, Vadakkipalayam, and Perumpathi areas.

Similarly, maintenance work will be carried out at the Devanampalayam substation near Pollachi. As a result, there will be no electricity in Devanampalayam, Kulathuppalayam, Seripalayam, Andipalayam, Vaguthampalayam, parts of Sediputhur, parts of Kappalankarai, and Seripalayam.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the power outage. The Electricity Board has stated that regular power supply will resume once the maintenance work is completed.
