DMK General Members Meeting Held in Coimbatore's Kavundampalayam Area

A DMK general members meeting was held in Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore, focusing on the 2026 Assembly elections strategy and honoring senior party members.


Coimbatore: A general members meeting of the DMK party was held in the Kavundampalayam area of Coimbatore under my leadership. The meeting saw the participation of key DMK leaders and focused on strategies for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections.

Thondamuthur A. Ravi, the Coimbatore North District Secretary, attended the meeting and urged the members to work diligently from now onwards to secure a 100% victory with a significant margin of votes in all constituencies in the 2026 Assembly elections.



During the event, senior DMK members were honored with shields and shawls, recognizing their contributions to the party. The meeting was attended by several prominent party figures including former MP Nagaraj, District Deputy Secretary Ashok Babu Arukutti, and Executive Committee Member TP Subramanian.



Other notable attendees included State Women's Wing Deputy Secretary Malathi Nagaraj, former Municipal Chairman Sundaram, former Responsibility Committee Member Jawahar, and various other district and ward-level office bearers. The gathering also saw the participation of youth wing members and several party affiliates.



In a significant development during the meeting, Kanagaraj, the Joint Secretary of the AIADMK City Students' Wing, joined the DMK in the presence of all attendees, marking a notable political shift.
