DMK Meeting in Pollachi Passes Resolution to Appoint Udhayanidhi Stalin as Deputy Chief Minister

A DMK general members meeting in Pollachi passed a resolution demanding the appointment of Udhayanidhi Stalin as Deputy Chief Minister. The meeting discussed party activities and election preparations.



Coimbatore: The Pollachi city unit of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) held a general members meeting at the Lorry Owners Association Marriage Hall on Tuesday. The meeting, chaired by Pollachi city secretary Navaneethakrishnan, saw the presence of Coimbatore South District Secretary Thalapathi Murugesan as the chief guest.



Pollachi Member of Parliament K. Eswaran attended the meeting and delivered a special address. He emphasized the need to propagate the welfare schemes implemented by the DMK government over the past three years. Eswaran urged the booth committee executives to work diligently to ensure DMK's victory in the upcoming elections.



The meeting also discussed plans to celebrate the DMK's Diamond Jubilee as per the party leadership's directive. A significant resolution was passed during the meeting, calling for the appointment of Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin as the Deputy Chief Minister. The resolution highlighted Udhayanidhi's role in the party's sweeping victory in all 40 constituencies during the last parliamentary elections.

Among the attendees were DMK Information Technology Wing Deputy Secretary Mahendran, Pollachi Municipal Chairperson Syamala Navaneethakrishnan, Vice Chairman Gautaman, and City Deputy Secretary Dharmaraj, along with several other DMK executives.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss party activities, election preparedness, and to rally support for Udhayanidhi Stalin's potential elevation within the party and government hierarchy.
