Annadhanam Offered at Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Sundarapuram, Coimbatore for Vinayagar Chaturthi

Coimbatore: The Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Sundarapuram, Coimbatore, celebrated Vinayagar Chaturthi with special rituals and community service on September 7. The festivities included a special abhishekam, decorated puja, and the distribution of Annadhanam (food offering) to devotees and the public.

The temple, located in the Kurichi area of Sundarapuram, saw a significant gathering of devotees from surrounding areas. As part of the Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations, the temple authorities conducted special abhishekam and alangara puja (decorated worship) for the deity.

Following the religious ceremonies, Annadhanam was organized and distributed to the devotees. This charitable offering of food was arranged by V. Arumugapandi, adding a communal aspect to the spiritual celebration. Devotees and members of the public from nearby areas participated in the event, offering prayers and receiving darshan of the deity.
