The areas identified for development include Karumbukadai, Saravanampatti, and Athupalam.

Rafi, who was recently appointed to the commission by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, made these announcements during a felicitation ceremony organized by the Jeeva Shanthi Foundation in Aathupalam. The foundation is known for its social welfare activities across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and other regions.

Speaking at the event, Rafi emphasized the importance of quality education and strong moral values for the younger generation. He praised the current Dravidian model government led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for its inclusive approach towards all communities.

As a member of the Minority Commission, Rafi outlined several initiatives for minority-dominated areas in Coimbatore. These include:

1. Establishing a government bank in the region
