ICT Academy's BRIDGE Conference in Coimbatore: Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan Participates

The 57th edition of ICT Academy's BRIDGE Conference was held in Coimbatore on August 20, focusing on 'Tamil Nadu - The Global Skill Capital'. Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan attended as the chief guest.



Coimbatore: The 57th edition of ICT Academy's BRIDGE Conference, themed "Tamil Nadu - The Global Skill Capital", was held today (August 20) at a private hotel on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore. Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, participated as the chief guest of this conference.

Other notable attendees included Kumar Jayant, Additional Chief Secretary of the Information Technology and Digital Services Department, R. Kannan, Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Electronics Corporation, Srivats Ram, Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council, and V.M. Muralidharan, CEO of Bahwan CyberTek.



The mega industry networking event aimed to list the curriculum for transforming Tamil Nadu into a global hub for skill development and outstanding workforce. It brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and educators to share insights and create new collaborations.

In his special address, Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan stated that this conference was exceptional and its theme echoed the Chief Minister's vision. He also mentioned that Tamils worldwide have already made significant impacts across all sectors.



During the conference, Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan presented the 'ICT Academy Education Changemaker Award 2024' to educational institution leaders who have made remarkable achievements in higher education through innovative and ambitious efforts. The recipients included C.A.N.V. Natarajan of Pavai Educational Institutions, Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami of Dr. NGP Educational Institutions, Karunanidhi of Vivekananda Educational Institutions, Vinoth, Director of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College, and Chandrasekar, Chairman of Annapoorna Engineering College.

Thousands of participants from various industries and educational institutions attended this conference, making it a significant event in the region's technological and educational landscape.
