AIADMK MLA S.P. Velumani Inaugurates Waiting Shed Construction in Ward 91, Coimbatore

AIADMK MLA S.P. Velumani initiated the construction of a waiting shed at a ration shop in K.P.R. Colony, Ward 91, Thondamuthur constituency, Coimbatore on August 2. The project aims to benefit local residents.


Coimbatore: AIADMK MLA S.P. Velumani inaugurated the construction of a waiting shed at a ration shop in K.P.R. Colony, Ward 91 of Thondamuthur constituency, Coimbatore on Wednesday, August 2. The project, initiated on the orders of AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami, aims to provide shelter for residents waiting at the fair price shop.

Velumani performed a Bhoomi Puja to mark the commencement of the construction work. The event was attended by AIADMK executives and party workers, showing their support for the local development initiative.



The waiting shed is expected to benefit the residents of K.P.R. Colony, offering them protection from sun and rain while they wait for their turn at the ration shop. This infrastructure improvement aligns with AIADMK's commitment to enhancing public amenities in the region.

The inauguration of this project in Ward 91 demonstrates the party's continued focus on grassroots development, even while in opposition. It also highlights the role of MLAs in initiating local infrastructure projects to address the needs of their constituents.
