Library Construction Begins in Ottakkalmandapam Town Panchayat in Coimbatore

Construction of an additional library building worth Rs. 22 lakh commenced in Ottakkalmandapam Town Panchayat on August 1, funded by Tamil Nadu Library Commission.


Coimbatore: The construction of a new library building in Ottakkalmandapam Town Panchayat began today (August 1) with a groundbreaking ceremony. The additional library building, estimated to cost Rs. 22 lakh, is being constructed at the Thiruvalluvar Auditorium in Ramachandra Nagar under the funding of the Tamil Nadu Library Commission.

Town Panchayat President Priyadarshini inaugurated the construction work by performing the Bhoomi Puja. The ceremony was attended by Vice President Satish, Town Panchayat Council Member Siranjivi Kannan, and local residents.
