Central Government Announces SEED Scheme for Denotified Tribes - Collector's Announcement

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announces the implementation of SEED scheme by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for the economic empowerment of Denotified Tribes (DNTs).



Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has recently issued a statement regarding the implementation of the SEED (Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNT's) program by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for the benefit of Denotified Tribes. This scheme is being executed by the central government with various objectives.

The SEED program focuses on four main areas: Educational Empowerment (providing quality coaching for DNTs to succeed in competitive exams conducted by central/state governments), Health (offering special insurance schemes for DNTs), Livelihoods (facilitating community-level livelihood initiatives to create and strengthen small groups of DNT/NT/SNT community organizations), and Housing (providing land pattas and financial assistance for house construction to DNTs).

Eligible beneficiaries can apply through the central government's website www.dwbdnc.dosje.gov.in. For more information, interested individuals can contact the District Backward Classes Welfare Office at the District Collectorate, as stated by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.
