Scheduled Power Outage in KG Chavadi, Kuppepalayam, and Podanur Sub-stations Tomorrow in Coimbatore

Electricity Board announces power cuts in various areas of Coimbatore on July 16 from 9 AM to 5 PM due to monthly maintenance work at three sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced scheduled power outages in several areas of Coimbatore on July 16, 2023, due to monthly maintenance work at three sub-stations. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The affected areas under the KG Chavadi sub-station include Muruganpathi, Savadiputhur, Navakkarai, Ayyanpathi, Pichanur, Veerappanur, AG Pathi, Kumittipathi, Thirumalayampalayam, and Rangasamuthiram.

Areas serviced by the Kuppepalayam sub-station that will experience power cuts are Onnipalayam, Sikkarampalayam, Senniveerampalayam, Kallipalayam, Kattampatti, Kuppepalayam, Sengalipalayam, Pugalur (partial), Vadavalli, Kurumbapalayam, Karichchipalayam, Kadavukarai, Puthur, Vadukapalayam, Moondikaaliputur, Rangappagoundanputur, and Moonukattiyur.

The Podanur sub-station maintenance will affect power supply in Nanjundapuram, Vellalore, Konavaikkalpalayam, Sriram Nagar, Indira Nagar, Easwaran Nagar, Anbu Nagar, JJ Nagar, Annapuram, and Avvai Nagar.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the scheduled power interruption.
