Coimbatore: A young archer from Coimbatore has made her mark at the state level, bringing home a gold medal and earning a spot in the upcoming national competition. Pragathi E, a fourth-grade student at Yuvabharathi Public School, Coimbatore, showcased her exceptional skills at the 17th mini sub junior Tamil Nadu state archery championships held in Chennai from July 5 to 7.

Competing in the under-10 Indian round girls category, Pragathi clinched the gold medal in both the qualifying and elimination rounds. Her outstanding performance has earned her a place in the Tamil Nadu team for the forthcoming national level match scheduled to take place in Vijayawada.

Pragathi's success is attributed not only to her talent and dedication but also to the guidance of her mentor, Kishore Kumar R. The young archer's achievement highlights the growing interest and proficiency in archery among Coimbatore's youth.
