Power Outage in Periyanaickenpalayam Area Today

The affected areas include Periyanaickenpalayam, Naickenpalayam, Kovanur, Kudalur Goundampalayam, Jothipuram, Press Colony, No.4 Veerapandi, Idikkarai, Sengalipalayam, Poochiyur, Samanaickenpalayam, Athipalayam, Govindanaickenpalayam, Maniyakarampalayam, Palamalai, and Narasimmanaickenpalayam.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas of Coimbatore on Sunday, July 9, due to monthly maintenance work at the Periyanaickenpalayam substation. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The affected areas include Periyanaickenpalayam, Naickenpalayam, Kovanur, Kudalur Goundampalayam, Jothipuram, Press Colony, No.4 Veerapandi, Idikkarai, Sengalipalayam, Poochiyur, Samanaickenpalayam, Athipalayam, Govindanaickenpalayam, Maniyakarampalayam, Palamalai, and Narasimmanaickenpalayam.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements to manage their electricity needs during the outage period. The TNEB has stated that the maintenance work is essential to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the power supply system in the region.

The power supply is expected to resume once the maintenance work is completed. In case of any changes to the schedule or early completion of work, the TNEB will notify the public through appropriate channels.
