Freshers' Orientation Day Celebrated at Sri Ramakrishna College for Women in Coimbatore

Sri Ramakrishna College for Women in Avarampalayam, Coimbatore, held its Freshers' Orientation Day on July 3. The event featured distinguished guests and a warm welcome for new students.


Coimbatore: The Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women in Avarampalayam, Coimbatore, celebrated its Freshers' Orientation Day on July 3, welcoming new students to the institution.

The event was presided over by T. Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust. Dr. Sudha Seshayyan, Director of Chennai SASTRA University, graced the occasion as the chief guest and offered valuable advice to the students.



Dr. K. Chitra, Principal of the college, highlighted the institution's achievements and milestones. In a heartwarming gesture, senior students presented seed balls to the freshers as a symbol of welcome and growth.



As part of the event, the college's Health Club organized free medical check-ups for visitors in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Hospital. This initiative underscored the institution's commitment to community health and well-being.



The orientation day served as a platform to introduce new students to the college's academic environment, facilities, and extracurricular opportunities. It also provided a chance for freshers to interact with their seniors and faculty members, fostering a sense of community within the institution.
