Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing water pipeline installation work near G.P. Signal on Avinashi Road in Ward 48 of the Central Zone on July 4, 2024. The project is part of the 24-hour water supply scheme being implemented by Suez company.

During his visit, Commissioner Prabakaran reviewed the progress of the work and issued directives to expedite the completion of the pipeline installation. He emphasized the importance of timely execution to ensure uninterrupted water supply to the residents of the area.

The Commissioner was accompanied by the Corporation's Chief Engineer Anbazhagan and Assistant Engineer Uthaman, along with other municipal officials. The inspection team assessed the quality of work and discussed potential challenges in implementing the water supply project.

This inspection is part of the Corporation's efforts to monitor and ensure the efficient implementation of infrastructure projects across the city. The 24-hour water supply scheme aims to improve water distribution and address the growing needs of Coimbatore's expanding population.
