Engineer's House Burgled in Thondamuthur, Vadavalli, 10 Sovereigns of Jewelry Stolen

In Thondamuthur, Vadavalli, burglars broke into the house of Naveenkumar, an engineer, stealing 10 sovereigns of jewelry. Vadavalli police are investigating with fingerprints and CCTV footage.


Coimbatore: Naveenkumar, a 29-year-old engineer residing at Thondamuthur Road in Vadavalli, locked his home and went to work on June 28. When his father, Selvaraj, arrived at the house later that day, he found the door forcibly opened and immediately informed his son.

Upon returning, Naveenkumar discovered that 10 sovereigns of jewelry had been stolen from the bureau. He promptly reported the incident to the Vadavalli police station. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They inspected the crime scene with forensic experts, capturing two sets of fingerprints from the door and the bureau. The police are also reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to identify the suspect.
