Mettupalayam intensifies efforts to catch stray cattle on roads

Recent increase in accidents due to stray cattle in Mettupalayam has prompted the municipality to take immediate action to catch roaming livestock from June 27.


Coimbatore: Residents of various parts of Mettupalayam have been facing hardships due to stray cattle, including cows and goats, wandering on the roads. This has led to several accidents, prompting public demand for swift action from the municipal administration. Responding to the concerns, the municipality has initiated an intensified campaign from June 27 to catch these stray animals and mitigate the risk of accidents and public inconvenience.
