Congress Protests NEET Examination Irregularities in Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, the Congress minority department held a protest condemning the irregularities in the 2024 NEET exam results, including question paper leaks and the unfair distribution of grace marks.


Coimbatore: The ongoing nationwide protest against the irregularities in the 2024 NEET examination results, including question paper leaks and unfair distribution of grace marks, reached Coimbatore today. Organized by the Congress Party's minority department and the Kuniyamuthur circle Congress committee, the demonstration took place in Sundarapuram, Coimbatore South District.

Several allegations against the central BJP government were voiced, claiming that these irregularities have shattered the medical aspirations of many students.



Muhammad Areef, the leader of the Congress Minority Department in Tamil Nadu, led the protest.



Noteworthy attendees were Bhagavathi, leader of Coimastore South District, and V.M.C. Manokaran, leader of Coimbatore North District, alongside approximately 500 participants who raised slogans condemning the government.



Ahead of the protest, Muhammad Areef addressed the media, emphasizing that various corrupt practices in NEET have not only jeopardized the futures of numerous students but also rendered their dreams futile. He forcefully argued for the complete abolition of the NEET examination system to restore fairness in medical admissions.
