Coimbatore: A significant protest was held today by the Tamil Nadu Nutrition Workers' Federation in front of the Coimbatore District Collectorate. The demonstrators, predominantly nutrition workers who have completed teacher training, demanded permanent employment as teachers under a fair pay scale. Secretary Pragalatha led the demonstration, calling attention to various demands regarding worker welfare and promotion criteria.
