Coimbatore Lawyers to Boycott Court Proceedings on June 27 and 28

Lawyers in Coimbatore have planned a court boycott on June 27 and 28 to protest against the newly introduced laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshiya.



Coimbatore: Lawyers in Coimbatore will boycott court proceedings on June 27 and 28, as decided in the latest general body meeting of the Coimbatore District Lawyers Association held on June 24. The meeting, chaired by the association president Gopalakrishnan with Secretary Sudheesh presiding, resolved to protest against the enactment of three new criminal laws, namely Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshiya.
