Changes in Coimbatore-Chennai Train Services Due to Engineering Works

Southern Railways has announced modifications in train services between Coimbatore and Chennai till 26th due to ongoing engineering works at Chennai Central.


Coimbatore: In a recent update from Southern Railway, changes have been made to the Coimbatore-Chennai train services due to engineering works at Chennai Central.

According to the announcement, train number 12676, Coimbatore-Chennai Central Kovai Express, will depart from Coimbatore at 3:15 PM and will only run till Perambur instead of Chennai Central until the 26th of this month.

Another service, train number 12682 Coimbatore-Chennai Central Weekly Express, is scheduled to leave Coimbatore Junction at 11:30 PM on the 21st and will proceed to Chennai Beach Station.

Passengers are advised to note these changes and plan their travel accordingly. Further updates can be expected as the engineering works progress.
