Frequent Snake Sightings at Coimbatore District Collector Office Demand Cleanup

Employees at the Coimatre District Collector office urge cleanup due to frequent snake sightings in overgrown areas, creating a fearful working environment.

Coimbatore: The offices of various departments at the Coimbatore District Collector's office are functioning amidst overgrown vegetation, especially near areas like the pensioner's section of the district treasury and places where employees gather for tea. Snakes and other venomous creatures are frequently found hiding in the bushy areas adjacent to these spaces.

Recently, a large snake was spotted on a window at the pensioner's section of the district treasury, slithering away upon spotting humans and hiding in a nearby room. Such instances of significant snake sightings have caused great alarm among the staff and public, prompting calls for a thorough cleanup of all bushy areas within the office premises. The staff and public have voiced their concerns on June 19, requesting regular maintenance to transform their fearful work environment.
