Tamil Nadu Government to Grant Permission for New Mini Buses

The Tamil Nadu Government has announced plans to grant permission to operate new mini buses across various routes in the state, reviving the approval process that was on hold for several years.

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to revive the operation of mini buses across the state by granting new permissions. This comes after a hiatus in the approval process for several years. The government recently released a comprehensive draft plan outlining the integration of mini bus services statewide. The decision to grant permission for new mini bus services will be determined by the RTOs (Regional Transport Offices) based on assessments of the required routes throughout Tamil Nadu. This initiative aims to enhance local transportation options and improve accessibility for commuters in suburban and rural areas.
