Coimbatore: A scheduled power outage has been announced for tomorrow, affecting Mettupalayam and surrounding areas, due to maintenance activities at the Mettupalayam substation. According to the electricity board, the power cut will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on June 15. Areas impacted include Odanthurai, Kallar, Katoor, Kuttaiyur, Teachers Colony up to High School, T.G. Pudur, Aiyarpadi, Thottipalayam, Pellathi, surrounding regions of Alankombu, Sirumugai, Jadayampalayam, and Therampalayam.

This outage is part of regular maintenance intended to enhance the reliability of power supply in these regions. Residents and businesses are advised to plan accordingly as power will not be available during these hours. The electricity department regrets any inconvenience caused and requests the cooperation of all affected parties.
