Coimbatore: A significant step towards infrastructure improvement was taken in Annur, Coimbatore District, where a drainage system survey was conducted today, June 7. The survey marked the initial stage of constructing a rainwater drainage channel from Annur Itteri Road to Kunnathurampalayam Pond.

This initiative aims to efficiently manage rainwater and alleviate potential flooding during the rainy season. Notably, the survey saw the participation of several key figures, including the Perur Panchayat leader, Parameswaran, surveyors, and the village administrative officer, Revenue Inspector, demonstrating a coordinated effort to bolster civic amenities.
