Two Arrested for Selling Ganja Near Jothi Nagar Park in Pollachi

In an effort to clamp down on drug trafficking, Coimbatore police arrested two men for selling ganja near Jothi Nagar Park in Pollachi on June 6.


Coimbatore: In a continued crackdown on narcotics within the region, Coimbatore district police have intensified their efforts to curb drug circulation. Based on a tip-off, the special task force conducted a vehicle check near Jothi Nagar Park, Pollachi, on June 6.

During the operation, two individuals from Pollachi, Sadam Hussein (23) and Muhammad Salman (22), were arrested for transporting ganja intended for sale. The police seized 1.5 kilograms of cannabis and a two-wheeler from their possession. Following the seizure, both individuals were detained and placed under judicial custody.
