His closest competitor, BJP candidate Annamalai, received 447,101 votes. The final vote margin between the two was 117,561, solidifying Rajkumar's lead and confirming his win. There was particular attention on the second round of mail-in votes, which has been announced as well. This victory marks a significant achievement for the DMK in this crucial seat.
