Two Arrested for Selling Ganja Chocolate Near Thudiyalur

Two individuals were arrested by Thudiyalur police for allegedly selling ganja-infused chocolates in Vellakinar area. The operation led to the seizure of 7 kg of ganja chocolate.


Coimbatore: Following a tip-off, Thudiyalur police conducted a raid yesterday, May 18, in the Vellakinar area near Thudiyalur. During the operation, two individuals were detained.

Upon questioning, the suspects provided inconsistent responses, which led to a thorough search. It was discovered that both were involved in the sale of ganja-infused chocolates.

The individuals, identified as Ramnath Shani (23) and Rajuv Shakani (21), both hailing from Bihar, were arrested. A total of 7 kilograms of ganja chocolate was confiscated from their possession. The suspects were subsequently presented in court and have been remanded to custody.
