Cleanup Drive at Perur Periyakulam Conducted by Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu

A significant cleanup effort was undertaken at Perur Periyakulam on May 5, 2024, by the Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu to remove accumulated plastic waste.


Coimbatore: On May 5, 2024, the Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu spearheaded a major cleanup drive at Perur Periyakulam.



The initiative was specifically aimed at removing plastic waste littering the banks of the reservoir.



A large number of volunteers, including both youth and adults from Coimbatore, participated zealously in the event.



These dedicated individuals collected and disposed of several kilograms of plastic debris, thus contributing substantially towards the conservation of the aquatic environment.
