During a raid near Pollachi Market Road, the police arrested Alagarsamy, a 54-year-old man from Madurai district, who was found selling ganja. During the arrest, police seized 1 kilogram and 100 grams of ganja, along with Rs. 20,000 in cash from him. This operation is part of an ongoing effort to eliminate the use of illegal drugs in the region.
