Three employees holding various positions at the Tirupur District Collector's office have succeeded in the Group 1 and are set to serve in positions such as Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner of the Commercial Tax Department, and Deputy Registrar.

Tirupur: Achievement has come to the fore at the Tirupur District Office where three government employees have excelled in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 1 exams. The results, recently released, reveal that these employees secured significant positions as Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner of the Commercial Tax Department, and Deputy Registrar.

Nithya, Subhashini and Indira Priyadarshini are currently serving in various capacities within the same office, showcasing not only their dedication to their current roles but also their commitment to furthering their administrative careers.

Among the achievers, Subhashini an engineering graduate from Nambiyur, joined the Cooperative Department in Tirupur and now has taken a leap forward by securing a position as Assistant Registrar.

My pursuit of excellence was fueled by both self-motivation and encouragement from officials like Tirupur District Employment Officer, Suresh, said Subhashini. She added that she used utilised the breaks and off-duty hours for exam preparation, which has evidently paid off.

Another noteworthy achiever, Indira Priyadarshini (28) from Udumalai has a B.Sc. in Agriculture. She joined as an Agricultural Officer in Madathukulam, Tirupur district, in 2019 and is currently working at the District Collector's office. She secured the 35th rank in the Group 1 exam and is set to take up the role of Assistant Commissioner in the Commercial Tax Department.

“As an Agricultural Officer, I had to travel to various locations, which often delayed my return home. However, I studied whenever I could find the time and have succeeded today", she said.

In another success story, Nithya (26), also a B.Sc. in Agriculture degree holder, passed the Group 4 exams conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and joined as a Junior Assistant in 2020. She didn't stop there; she continued studying and succeeded in the Group 2 exams to work at the District Collector's office.

Nithya applied for the Group 1 exam and secured the 10th rank in the state, preparing for the role of Deputy Collector.

“It is astonishing that out of the 95 successful candidates in Group 1 from Tamil Nadu, three are working at the Tirupur District Collector's office. Even after securing government jobs, we did not lose heart but kept studying. That perseverance is a key reason for our success in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Group 1 exam," they collectively stated.

This series of successes highlights the trend of government employees not resting on their laurels but pushing boundaries to elevate their careers. It reflects on their commitment to continuous learning and development, setting inspiring examples for others in the community.
