Coimbatore: The Coimbatore parliamentary constituency is witnessing a steady flow of voters in the General Elections 2024, with a reported 36.10% turnout by 1 PM. The constituencies within Coimbatore, including Palladam, Sulur, Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore (North), Coimbatore (South), and Singanallur, have shown varying percentages of voter turnout since the polls opened early this morning.



The Palladam constituency leads with a 39.91% turnout, while Singanallur trails with a 34.73% turnout. The total number of electors in these areas amounts to 21,06,124, including male, female, and transgender voters. The polling began at 9 AM with a start of 9.38% turnout, steadily increasing throughout the day, reflecting the electorate's engagement in the democratic process.
