Tiruppur Constituency Sees Active Voter Turnout With 16.08 Lakh Participants

In Tiruppur Lok Sabha constituency, 13 candidates contest as 16,08,521 voters participate across 1,745 polling booths. Subburayan of the Indian Communist Party cast his vote early today.


Coimbatore: Tiruppur’s Lok Sabha constituency gears up for a robust electoral battle with 16,08,521 voters engaging today across 1,745 polling stations spanning diverse segments like Tiruppur North, South, Perundurai, Bhavani, Anthiyur, and Gobichettipalayam. This comprehensive electoral exercise encompasses voters from both Tiruppur and Erode districts, among which 7,91,024 are male, 8,17,245 are female, and there are 252 transgender voters.


The bustling activity began early morning, with logistics, including voting machines and essential amenities securely in place. Notably, Subburayan from the Indian Communist Party, the current MP, was among the early voters, casting his vote at Tiruppur Padmavathipuram School, symbolizing the democratic spirit of the region.




As the day progresses, Tiruppur portrays a dynamic example of democracy in action, with each voter’s participation pivotal in deciding the potent future of this significant electoral region.
