Farmer's Son from Udumalai Secures Rank in IAS Examination

Mukilan, a farmer's son from Pallapalayam near Udumalai, Tiruppur district, has successfully secured the 404th rank in his second attempt at the Union Government's IAS exam.


Coimbatore: Mukilan, originally from the small village of Pallapalayam near Udumalai in Tiruppur district, has achieved a commendable feat by securing the 404th rank in the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam conducted by the Union Government. Born to Ramu and Banumathi, who are farmers, Mukilan has a background rooted in agriculture.




He completed his school education in Udumalai and further pursued engineering at the prestigious MIT College in Chennai. After finishing his studies, Mukilan dedicated himself to preparing for the civil services exam. Succeeding on his second attempt, his achievement has become a source of pride and joy for his community. Residents of the Udumalai area have been extending their congratulations to Mukilan, celebrating his success as one of their own.
