BJP Functionary Severs Finger in Support of Annamalai's Victory in Coimbatore

In a shocking incident, Durai Ramalingam, a BJP functionary from Pallipalayam in Cuddalore district, severed his index finger to express his support for BJP candidate Annamalai to win in the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency.


Coimbatore: In a startling act of political fervor, Durai Ramalingam, aBJP functionary from the Pallipalayam area near Kurinjipadi in Cuddalore, has severed his index finger in support of Annamalai's victory. 

As per reports, Durai, serving as the deputy leader of BJP in the district, has been actively campaigning in Coimbatore in support of Annamalai, the BJP leader contesting from Coimbatore's parliamentary constituency.

After a ten-day intensive campaign in Coimbatore, Ramalingam concluded his activities yesterday evening around 5 PM. Subsequently, he dramatically declared that Annamalai must win, taking a knife and cutting off his left index finger. 

Onlookers were stunned by this action and rushed him to a hospital on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore for immediate medical attention. This act has stirred significant controversy and discussion among the public.
